Meatly — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
Meatly ("we", "us") operates the Meatly mobile app for ordering fresh chicken for delivery. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
- Delivery details you provide at checkout: name, phone number, delivery address, and an optional landmark.
- Location (optional): if you tap "use my location", we read your device's GPS coordinates once to pre-fill your delivery address. You can decline this and type your address manually instead.
- Order history: items ordered, amounts paid, and order status, tied to your phone number.
We do not collect passwords, payment card numbers, or biometric data. Payment happens via your own UPI app or cash on delivery — we never see or store your UPI PIN or bank details.
How we use it
- To deliver your order to the correct address and contact you about it.
- To show your past orders when you re-open the app.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Data retention & deletion
Order and delivery data is retained to support order history and customer service. To request deletion of your data, contact us using the details below.
Third parties
- Delivery address lookup uses OpenStreetMap's free Nominatim service to turn GPS coordinates into a readable address. No account is created there.
- Our backend runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2).
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
